13566: 21 and 19-year-old non-smoking UK couple, currently working on a dairy farm in New Zealand after completing a successful season with a large agricultural contracting business. Available from mid-September, they are specifically hoping to secure a harvest opportunity where they can both progress onto header operations, although they are realistic about their experience levels and are happy to consider header and chaser bin. They are looking to work together on the same property and bring a strong mix of machinery operation, livestock and general farm experience. Their background includes cultivating, power harrowing, muck spreading, silage, trailer and bin work, dairy operations, feeding out, calf rearing, telehandler and loader operation, GPS guidance systems and machinery servicing. A recent reference from their agricultural contracting employer described them as highly reliable, hardworking and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also highlighting their strong workshop attitude, initiative and willingness to simply get stuck in. They are flexible, practical and happy to assist wherever required, whether that be machinery operation, livestock work or general farm duties. They would be well suited to a medium family-run farming enterprise seeking a reliable couple for the hay and harvest season, particularly businesses looking to develop capable operators who are keen to learn and take on greater machinery responsibilities.
